Bradford Dental Assisting graduates are trained to assist in four-handed dentistry. Specific attention is given to learning procedural competencies, office functions, and working with patients. A simulated dental clinic helps students gain hands-on experience in a real world environment. Students learn Expanded Function Dental assisting and experience two externships.

Program Highlights

Concentrated classes in dental materials, chairside assisting, and taking and developing radiographs. Dental assisting expanded functions are also taught. Among other things, students learn to place and remove rubber dams, as well as place, condense, finish and polish composite restorations.

Medical Assisting students receive training in the clinical and administrative sides of a medical office. Concentrated courses in pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, and medical laboratory procedures prepare students to begin a career as a medical assistant. Bradford students learn in classrooms designed to simulate a functional medical office, including commonly found equipment.

Program Highlights

8 week externship in a medical setting. Graduates can take the National Certification Examination to become a Certified Medical Assistant.
